Wide Island Publishing...

was formed in early 2021 with a desire to reach as many children as possible with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the owner’s words:

“As a former teacher and mentor, I have had the privilege of sharing Jesus with children for many years. In the summer of 2020, I was listening to Eric Metaxas do an interview with Focus on the Family about his new book, If You Can Keep It. He was sharing about the amazing freedoms we enjoy in the United States of America – freedom to start a business, to worship, to earn a respectable living, etc. – and something inside me came alive. ‘I could start my own business and publish children’s books,’ I thought. I had been praying for many months about ways in which I could be most effective in reaching children for Christ. It dawned on me that, if God would bless it, the books could reach more children than I could ever possibly encounter. I began thinking about the practical steps I would need to take to get started, and quickly realized that God had already provided everything I needed. He gave the story, Moshe’s Big Day, shortly after. The rest is history, as they say. Wide Island Publishing, LLC, became a reality a few months later.

Moshe’s Big Day: A Lesson in Trust, is about trusting in Jesus. That’s a lesson I have learned more intimately through this process. From the story idea, to the talented people that helped make it all a reality, and everything in between, God has done amazing things. He has been so faithful, and I pray multitudes of children are impacted for eternity by the words of our books.”
